Sylvia & Ricky: The Invitations

From the very beginning, Sylvia and Ricky had a vision for their wedding day. They were not a couple who had a theme (in fact when I first met with them they didn't even have colors) but they wanted to evoke a feeling of warmth and whimsy. Sylvia wanted to use soft pastels and spring colors mixed with candle light and she wanted to introduce their guests to this feeling as soon as they received their invitation.

Something small to hold you over...

I am already very far behind in my blogging resolution but I still have a few things lined up to blog about so please hang in there! In the meantime there are some fantastic things happening at Daily Candy. They are launching a new daily wedding newsletter!
What used to be a quarterly event is now weekly!

Blogging...

I can hardly keep up with all my blog reading because I follow so many, but I wasn't always this way. When I was planning my own wedding, I stumbled into the world of wedding blogs and Matt was kind enough to introduce me to Bloglines in order to keep track of everything. (Fearful of Bloglines instability, we both ultimately switched to Google Reader.) As I read more and more and filled my blog reader, I had grandiose ideas that I could be a wedding blogger. Secretly, I think I wanted to be a Weddingbee.com blogger as I found so many Weddingbee girls fun and interesting to read.

New Year Resolutions

I hardly ever make resolutions and I rarely write them down, but this year has a lot of moving parts and I am committed to making them all work together. Unsurprisingly, one of my new year's resolutions is to blog with more regularity. Just "more" would be an extremely easy resolution to make, its the regularity that makes this a challenge. Currently I am hoping for 2-3 days a week. I am thrilled to be a part of My Kate Parker Weddings (http://www.mykateparkerwedding.com/) and this new resource offers another way for me to display my blog and gain more readership.
